The Facts of (My) Life

  1. Jason Nguyen (it's pronounced 'new win')
  2. Born in 1990 in California.
  3. Currently living in London.
  4. Currently an English Literature and Language student at the University of Westminster.
  5. I am not nearly as ready for the coming zombie apocalypse as I should be.
  6. But I'm pretty sure that I will do well once it begins.
  7. I have depression and anxiety. Here is a blog I wrote in 2013 about the latter.
  8. I have attempted to learn 4 languages. I know one. English.
  9. I do not have a sweet tooth. Which means more dessert for you!
  10. I wish I could cook better but I am too impatient.
  11. I didn't have a passport until I was 21 years old.
  12. I am fascinated by design and wish my artistic skills were better suited to related pursuits.
  13. I have an affinity for modern and postmodern designs. My tumblr will mostly reflect that aesthetic.
  14. I am a busybody.
  15. I don't travel nearly as much as I would like. I'm working on it.
  16. I miss surfing.
  17. I have a stupidly long list of books to read that I will never finish because I keep adding to it.
  18. The only bone I have ever broken is my big toe on my left foot. Multiple times.
  19. I cried in the Lion King, before Mufasa died, because the sounds of the stampede startled me. I still get jumpy when watching movies.
  20. My socks rarely match.
  21. I tend to leap without looking.
  22. I played piano for ~5 years. I wish I stuck with it.
  23. As I write this, I am currently 24 years old. I consider this to be my Kobe year. I will cry when he retires.
  24. The only time I that I have ever been star struck was when I met Commander Chris Hadfield.
  25. I should blog more.
